Missing Content Type Syndication Hub Feature in SharePoint 2013

In this article, I will solve the below issue in SharePoint

Couldn’t find the Content Type Syndication Hub Feature in Site Features.

What’s the Content Type Hub Site Collection?

A content type hub enables you to publish SharePoint content types across a farm. You can use a content type hub to centrally manage key content types that you want to use in multiple site collections.

Scenario

I have configured a Content Type Hub Site Collection, unfortunately, I couldn’t find the Content Type Syndication Hub Feature within site features.

  • Site Settings Site Action > Manage site features.

Manage Site Features

Cause

You should be aware of the Content-Type Hub feature is a Site Collection Feature, so you can’t find it in Manage Site Features in the subsite.

Solution
  • Go to the Root Site Settings. e.g http://root site name/_layouts/15/settings.aspx
  • Below Site Collection Administration > Click on Site Collection Features.

Site Collection Features

  • Check  Content Type Syndication Hub Feature > Activate.

Activate Content Type Syndication Hub

Conclusion

In this article, I have solved the “Missing Content Type Syndication Hub Feature in subsite features” issue

Applied To
  • SharePoint 2016.
  • SharePoint 2013.
