Missing Content Type Syndication Hub Feature in SharePoint 2013

I have configured a Content Type Hub Site Collection ,

A content type hub enables you to publish SharePoint content types across a farm. You can use a content type hub to centrally manage key content types that you want to use in multiple site collections.

But unfortunately, I couldn’t find the Content Type Syndication Hub Feature within site features.

  • Site Settings Site Action > Manage site features.

Manage Site FeaturesCause :

The Content Type Hub is activated as a Site Collection Feature, not as a Site Feature.

Solution:

  • Go to the Root Site Settings. e.g http://root site name/_layouts/15/settings.aspx
  • Below Site Collection Administration > Click on Site Collection Features.

Site Collection Features

  • Check  Content Type Syndication Hub Feature > Activate.

Content Type Syndication Hub

Enjoy 🙂
