I have tried to retrieve all files, folders, and subfolders from this Document Library in Reporting Service (SSRS) report, but unfortunately, it doesn’t recursively read all the subfolders and files, it only read the root folder and files as shown below:

In this hint, I will show How to
Hide + new document and disable drag and drop files option in Document Library in SharePoint.
Note: You can easily remove the +New and drag and drop option from document library by set toolbar type as ‘No Toolbar’ as below shown. but the purpose of this post is to disable drag and drop files option in Document Library.
In a SharePoint 2010, when I tried to create a new document within a document library. I found out it has been saved on the local PC rather than saved directly on the SharePoint document library !
This is my scenario :
- I opened a document library.
- I clicked on a new word document. > Type data > Save.
The Save As dialog asking for a save location that point to a local drive on my local computer! where it’s should be the path of parent SharePoint document library.
